Highest risk peaks are from sunset to midnight followed by the hours shortly before and after sunrise.  Deer crossing signs really are posted where animal crossings are likely.  Don't swerve to avoid hitting a deer because...you could lose control of your vehicle and roll into a ditch or swerve into oncoming traffic.  If a collision seems inevitable, then hit the deer while maintaining full control of your vehicle.  Only brake sharply and stop if there is no danger of being hit by traffic.  Report any deer-vehicle collisions to the police and bring your vehicle to Beckwith's Body Shop for repair to OEM standards.
